KillerHouse ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by KHapp / NomowsNow (the "Company"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the KillerHouse mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and a password (stored as a secure hash via Supabase authentication). Anonymous use is not permitted for most features.

Profile information. You may optionally provide a display name and other profile details.

Property data you submit. When you search for or report on a property, we collect the address you enter and any issue reports, photos, ratings, or reviews you submit about that property.

Photos. If you use the AI photo analysis feature ("Is My Home Trying to Kill Me?"), you upload photos of your home. These images are transmitted to Anthropic's API for analysis and are not permanently stored by us beyond what is needed to deliver the result.

Location data. The App uses your device location or a manually entered address to search for nearby properties and to query the sex offender registry within a one-mile radius. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

Device and usage data. We may collect standard technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs to maintain and improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account

  • To provide property safety scores, reports, and AI-powered analysis

  • To display tenant reviews and allow you to submit reviews

  • To query third-party data sources (property records, sex offender registry) on your behalf

  • To process subscription payments

  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)

  • To diagnose technical issues and improve the App

  • To comply with applicable law

3. Third-Party Services We Use

We share data with the following third-party providers to deliver core App functionality:

  • Supabase – database and authentication hosting. Your account data and property reports are stored on Supabase servers.

  • Anthropic – AI analysis of photos and text submitted through the App's AI features.

  • ATTOM Data Solutions – property details and sale history retrieved by address.

  • Offenders.io – sex offender registry data retrieved by geographic location.

  • Google Maps / Street View – property location mapping and street-level imagery.

  • RevenueCat – subscription and in-app purchase management.

  • Google Play – app distribution; subject to Google's privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Sex Offender Registry Data

The App displays publicly available sex offender registry information sourced from Offenders.io. This data is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Users should not take any action based solely on this information without independent verification.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and submitted content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Photos submitted for AI analysis are not retained after the result is returned.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed password storage, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

KillerHouse is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or opt out of certain data uses. Contact us at the email below and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
